217.4 grains. Usually seen in a bronze or pinchbeck composition, rarely in silver, this cast iron production is a later copy but an interesting one. In 2009, we described it as "Dark steel gray with finely granular surfaces typical of this composition. Some pitting, notably at lower reverse rim." It remains the only such copy of this medal we have encountered.
