MEXICO. Chilpanzingo. War of Independence. Real, ND (1813). PCGS Genuine--Scratch, Good Details.
KM-A257; cf. Pradeau-Pl. XXI, 7. Congress of Chilpanzingo Type A countermark on cast Mexico City Real (KM-81). A nice charcoal gray example of this type bearing an insurgent countermark. While the host preserves few of its details, the countermark is pleasingly intact and bold.
