MEXICO. Supreme National Congress. War of Independence. Real, 1813. Ferdinand VII. PCGS EF-45.
KM-211; Cal-693. An impressively well-produced example of this insurgent silver issue. The legends are legible in their near-entirety, lacking only a section on the eagle side due to the planchet shape. The central devices appear with uncommon boldness and clarity for this often hastily-struck type. Much brilliance remains in the fields, moderated slightly by attractive gray tone with slightly deeper coloration in the protected areas. A charming survivor that will certainly inspire strong bids from discerning collectors.
