Steel. Height: 4.5 inches; Diameter: 3.5 inches. Deceptively heavy and an all-around fascinating historical object. Medium steel gray with some scattered deeper toning in places, in addition to various light oxidation spots and a number of fine scratches and marks associated with handling. Overall, an attractive and satiny piece depicting a large state seal at center flanked by pastoral scenes on either side. This header for a state issued bond would make a fine piece for the dedicated collector of Minnesota-related artifacts.
