Jhun5.3A.1. This treasure is a standout among the many highlights being offered in our Maastricht catalog. A "Legal Tender in Burma Only" and Rangoon overprint on top of the issued Government of India KGV 1000 Rupees design. The design is exceptionally rare with any overprint, but this is the first Burma example we've encountered in our lengthy history. Due to the unlisted nature of the Pick Number, we are unable to determine if there are any others that have been graded by PMG, though we suspect even if there are, they will likely not be available any time soon.
