Medina-346; Fon-9391. Struck for the Proclamation of Ferdinand VII by the city of Potosi in Upper Peru. A type often seen in worn condition, evidently the result of the type having seen circulation alongside contemporary 8 Reales issues. Wholesome and original, with only light cabinet friction to the high points preventing a higher grade.
