HGC-1, 1596; HN Italy-2425; Pegasi-2/2. Obverse: Pegasos flying left; Reverse: Helmeted head of Athena left. A boldly struck example of this SCARCE issue, offering much brilliance and an attractive plum tone. Some cleaning marks and a flan flaw on the edge are noted, but detract little from this eye-catching Stater.
