MIXED LOTS. Duo of Latin American Medals (2 Piece), 1880 & 1981. Average Grade: EXTREMELY FINE.
1) CHILE. Tacna and Arica Campaign Silver Medal, 1880. Diameter: 40mm. Weight: 17.38 gms. Star-shaped medal with suspension loop. Obverse: "CAMPANA A BOLIVIA I EL PERU" around helmeted head of Athena right; Reverse: "DE 14 DE FEBRERO DE 1879 A 7 DE JUNIO DE 1880" in central disc. 2) PERU. Numismatic Society of Peru Copper-clad Medal, 1981. Diameter: 44mm. Weight: 41.66 gms. Commemorating the society's 30th anniversary. Obverse: Pillar of Hercules and Inca head left before mountains and sea; "SOCIEDAD NVMISMATICA DEL PERV" around; Reverse: "1951/12 DE MAYO 1981/XXX ANIVERSARIO" between pillars. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS.
