MIXED LOTS. Trio of Silver Denominations (3 Pieces), ca. 5th-2nd Centuries B.C. Average Grade: VERY FINE, Damaged.
This lot includes a Campanian Didrachm, an Athenian Tetradrachm, and a Ptolemaic Tetradrachm. All pieces are damaged, with the Tetradrachms displaying mount marks on their reverses and the Didrachm showing rim filing, likely intended to fit the coin in a bezel. Despite this, the pieces offer much attractive detail and lovely iridescent tone. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS.
From the Collection of Richard Evans Norton (1872-1946).
