Fernandina, Florida. Bank of Fernandina. 1859 $5. PMG Choice Fine 15.
(FL-20 G2a) Plate B. No. 460. Dec. 1, 1859. Imprint of the American Bank Note Company. Central vignette of a large steamship with other smaller sailing vessels and city in background. Bold crimson side panels house differing "5" protectors. Signed by Geo. S. Roux as Cashier. Signed by A.H. Cole as President. Remainders exists; very scarce as a fully signed and issued note. The only recent example we have sold was an unsigned Remainder that graded Very Good and which had large missing pieces. This evening's problem free PMG Choice Fine 15 should easily surpass the $400 price realization of the aforementioned Remainder.
