EL SALVADOR. Copper 50 Centavos Pattern, 1894-CAM. San Salvador (Central American) Mint. NGC PROOF-63 Red Brown.
KM-Pn42. An EXTREMELY RARE and captivating example of this off-metal striking in copper, the present piece, yielding exquisite proof surfaces and a rich red-brown hue, undoubtedly stands as one of the most attractive specimens of this paltry emission known. Compare to the Pat Johnson/Norweb example, a PCGS SPECIMEN-63 Brown that realized a total of $7,800 in our 2022 ANA auction (Lot # 34108).
