ARGENTINA. Silver Peso Pattern Restrike, 1880. NGC AU-58.
KM-Pn20; Janson-31. Unofficial circa 1970s restrike. Like presumably all examples of this "pattern" type, struck later (and presumably outside the mint), yet still popular as a crown-sized issue that appears with limited frequency. This example displays just the slightest degree of rub across the high points, with a great brilliance remaining in the fields. A planchet crack running from the rim nearly to the chin of Miss Libertad is noted merely for completeness.
