Description

"1652" (1850s) Pine Tree Threepence. Thomas Wyatt Copy. Noe-M, Kenney-5, W-14060. Silver. EF-45 (PCGS).
16.0 grains. Medallic alignment. Soft at upper left obverse, upper right reverse, partially due to centering on the former side, yet pleasingly bold elsewhere at the assigned grade level. With richly original toning in dominant sandy-gray, left reverse border with a blush of deep steely-charcoal.
