Description

1875 Liberty Seated Dime. Proof-65 Cameo (PCGS).
Essentially brilliant with a hint of natural patina. The surfaces are deeply mirrored with frosty devices resulting in the "Cameo" designation by PCGS. Some areas of reflective proof finish are seen in Liberty's seated figure, similar to that seen on the 1874 Proof dimes. Late die state, no repunching shows at 1 and 5 of date. Prominent die line at first T in STATES, diagnostic remnants of errant O in reverse denomination in field at upper left of that letter.

PCGS Population: 12; 14 finer within the designation (Proof-67 Cameo finest).
