Description

1945-D Jefferson Nickel. MS-68 FS (PCGS).
This delectable Superb Gem exhibits virtually flawless surfaces. The strike is razor sharp throughout, and there is not even a single detracting abrasion. Also beautifully toned, both sides are layered in soft pastel iridescence of sandy-gold, pale pink, ice-blue and mint-green. Simply gorgeous! The surfaces are simply incredible in their preservation and are graced by delicate pastel hues. This is one of only a handful of these popular Wartime nickels to grade this ultra high grade from PCGS, and there are only two others finer of this series with the Full Steps designation (MS-68+). An amazing coin that is destined for the most advanced Registry Collection of this series.
PCGS# 84026. NGC ID: 22TY.
PCGS Population: 12; just 2 finer (MS-68+ finest).

Estimate: $5300
