Description

1803 Draped Bust Cent. S-260. Rarity-1. Small Date, Large Fraction. EF-45 (PCGS).
Warm olive-brown patina overall, traces of faded rose color are more pronounced on the reverse. This is a boldly rendered and hard Choice EF Draped Bust cent that would do particularly well in a circulated type set. Numerous light marks on the obverse are noted for accuracy, none of which are distracting or even much in evidence when the coin is appreciated in hand.
PCGS# 1485.
From the Jerome S. Reznick Collection. Earlier from Hollinbeck-Kagin's 298th Mail Sale, September 1972, lot 1013. Collector tag with provenance notation included.

Estimate: $1050
