Description

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Mail or Claypoole's Daily Advertiser Newspaper with Numismatic Content Pertaining to the First U.S. Mint. October 26, 1791 Issue.
20.75 inches x 13 inches; 4 pages total. Numismatic content in second paragraph of fourth column of page 3 concerning the establishment of a mint to help ameliorate the scarcity of small change. The edges are mostly wholesome and foxing is minimal, but the spine is over 50% split open. A neat and historic item that would benefit from framing.
