When reviewing Track and Price census of Large Size Type Notes, you find that the number of two digit serial numbered $1 1899 Silvers far exceeds the population of two digit serial # $1 1923 Silvers. This beautiful note was last sold 24 years ago, by Lyn Knight on 10-12-1999, Lot 1227 as a Gem, where it realized $467.50. We feel these ultra-low serial numbered $1 1923 are undervalued today, relative to their rarity.
