Description

Fr. 2168-H*. 1977 $100 Federal Reserve Star Note. St. Louis. PCGS Currency Extremely Fine 45. Low Serial Number.
Serial #8 STAR on the #8 district on a small head $100!!!! In the world of fancy serial numbers, it doesn't get much better than this This knockout of a note looks like a 58 rather than a 45, but grade is of little consequence on the uber rarity.. We can find only twenty six notes (regular and star) from the 1977 series $100 H district reaching auction and none of them have low serial numbers. This is the type of note that when a dealer is able to buy it, he (she) has multiple clients waiting for it and can re-sell it the same day it arrives. Simply irreplaceable once it is gone.
From the Wisconsin Collection.

Estimate: $1500.00- $2500.00
