TURKEY. Ottoman Empire. Mint Error -- Obverse Brockage -- 20 Kurush, AH 1277 (ca. 1861-76). Constantinople Mint. Abdul Aziz. NGC EF-40.
KM-693. An interesting mint error with a bold full brockage. While the regnal year is unknown due to the error, the reverse design appears clearly on both sides. Limited circulation and a rich cabinet tone make this piece a beautiful survivor as well as an eye-catching numismatic curiosity. A RARELY -seen example of this dramatic error, this coin will undoubtedly appeal to a wide array of collectors.
