The Citizens National Bank of Newport was chartered in October of 1885 with its first National Currency emissions being that of Series of 1882 Brown Backs in denominations of $5, $10 and $20. This mid-grade $20 Brown Back displays good eye appeal and bold detail, and is sure to command a premium from New Hampshire collectors.
