PA-210. Pennsylvania. April 10, 1777. 4 Pence. PCGS Banknote Superb Gem Uncirculated 67 PPQ.
No. 65370. Plate C. Signed by L. Budd. Printed by John Dunlap, Philadelphia, 1777. A second small change issue from April, 1777, this lovely Four Pence note earns every bit of its Superb 67 PPQ grade with its near-perfect centering, crystal-clear printing, crisp off-white paper and superior eye appeal. This appears to be the only 67 from either service, with PMG's finest showing as a 66 EPQ. PCGS Banknote Pop 1/None Finer.
