ARCADIUS, A.D. 383-408. AV Solidus (4.44 gms), Constantinople Mint, ca. A.D. 402-403. NGC MS, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 4/5. Light Marks.
RIC-22; Depeyrot-54/1. Obverse: Pearl-diademed, helmeted, and cuirassed bust facing slightly right, holding spear over shoulder and shield decorated with horseman motif; Reverse: Victory seated right on cuirass, inscribing XX/XXX in two lines on a shield; CONOB. Extremely lustrous and enchanting, this specimen features a great vibrancy paired with an excellent overall strike.
