Description
1888 Liberty Seated Dime. Proof-67+ (NGC).
Ringed in partial crescents of warm rose-apricot and powder blue peripheral iridescence, this otherwise brilliant specimen allows full appreciation of mint reflectivity as the surfaces rotate under a light. Fully struck and expertly preserved, it is certainly among the finest survivors from a Proof mintage of 800 pieces.
