50 Gulden, Batavia, 12th April 1939, serial number MJ 05746. Black on red, Wayang dancers flanking central watermark of a Goddess. A common note in the lower grades but becomes exponentially rare above choice very fine. An original note which has seen light circulation retaining virtually all of its original colors. Scarce and a very popular series that will ensure spirited bidding on the day!
