A variant of the piece offered above, with the same approximately 86 mm central medallion and surrounding text and signatures of The Declaration of Independence, but with an integral decorative border. Below the text and signatures appears Black's copyright legend ENTERED ACCORDING TO ACT OF CONGRESS, IN THE YEAR 1859 BY S.H. BLACK IN THE CLERK'S OFFICE OF THE DISTRICT COURT OF THE UNITED STATES FOR THE SOUTHERN DISTRICT OF NEW YORK. Simple thin gilt wooden frame with wire on back for hanging. A chip in the lower left edge of the frame is noted.
