While a hoard of Uncirculated Plain Back $5s from the Newton National Bank has been on the market for a number of years, seeing any Large Size National in this condition still brings a small thrill. Chartered in November 1928, this bank was one of the last to be chartered during the Large Size era and issued only a few Plain Back notes before converting to the Small Size notes a few months later. In 1935, only $870 in Large Size notes was shown as outstanding. A superb and relatively affordable example, you will have trouble finding a more attractive choice for a type set than this.
