T-70. Confederate Currency. 1864 $2. PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ.
No. 94709. Plate C. Printed by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. The last deuce from the Confederacy showed only a small portrait of Secretary of State Judah P. Benjamin at the center left, and a blank back. We note that while a few 65s are around, PMG has graded only one 66 EPQ in their roughly 20 years of operation. Keep in mind as well that PMG shows 1,269 total pieces graded as of this writing and only 33, or under 3% have attained gem status. PMG Pop 32/1 Finer.
