Undated "Nova Virginiae Tabula (New Virginia Map)." Very Fine.
Seemingly two individual pages removed from a book or atlas and then bound together along the vertical dividing line, the finished product measuring 14.25 inches x 12.5 inches. Although the legends and images correspond with this orientation, one will need to rotate the map 90 degrees counterclockwise so that north is at the top. Nice bright color to the printing, the paper well preserved and intact with essentially no foxing and only trivial chipping along the top edge. A small sticker is affixed to the upper left edge, short tear near by, neither of which extend into the map. In addition to a date, there is also no maker's name. The text is in both Latin and English.
