2015-CJB Bitcoin Penny Co. Bitcoin-Themed Token. First Year. Medal-Turn Error. MS-64 PL (ICG)
Unfunded and non-loaded. This is important as the debut issue from the Bitcoin Penny Company, which launched in March 2015. This issue actually features a protective lacquer coating to prevent tarnish, which was applied as part of the production process. It also featured a rotated die error in which the obverse and reverse are oriented in the same direction. This is known as medal-turn or book-turn alignment and it impacts about 1,000 coins from the original mintage. The other "regular" coins feature conventional coin-turn alignment where the obverse and reverse are oriented opposite each other.
