San Francisco Mint Cast Silver Ingot. Undated Type I Oval Hallmark. Small Font, Curved-Stem 9s. Ingot No. 1662. Lot 6. 6.03 Ounces. 999.5 Fine.
32 mm x 51.5 mm x 12 mm. On the front face is the hallmark, followed by 1662 / 999.5 / FINE. The lot number, 6, is on the bottom edge, while the back face has the weight 6.03 / OZS. The hallmark is unevenly impressed, softest at the left, with its upper right edge flush with the top of the ingot. On the back face, the letter S in OZS is partially off the ingot. Otherwise, we note bold, even detail to all stamps. With bright silver-gray color overall and only minor, readily acceptable casting imperfections.
