1893-CC Liberty Head Half Eagle. Winter 1-A. MS-62 (PCGS).
Lovely golden-apricot surfaces are sharply struck overall with solid luster quality for the grade. The Carson City Mint half eagle series passed into history in 1893 with a mintage of 60,000 coins. This is the scarcest of the 1890s CC-Mint fives in AU and Mint State grades, and the historical significance of the issue guarantees continued numismatic demand.
