New York, New York. 1902 Plain Back $5 Fr. 609. The Seward NB & TC. Charter #13045. PMG Choice Uncirculated 63 EPQ. Serial Number 8.
A Choice Uncirculated Plain Back $5 from the short-lived (1927-31) Seward National Bank and Trust Company of New York City bearing serial No. 8, evidently from a cut sheet as most of the other numbers from 1 to 10 also appear on the census. While this note does not yet appear, nearly all the others also grade 63. So, despite the fact that it is far from unique, it remains a highly desirable Uncirculated example, and is certainly always a treat to see any large size note in new condition.
