Ventura, California. $20 1902 Plain Back. Fr. 661. The Union NB. Charter #12996. PCGS Banknote Very Fine 30.
This will be the ninth large size note to come forth from this Ventura County issuer, which only issued $10 & $20 Plain Backs for large size currency. A new addition to the Track & Price census, this is the third $20 Plain Back reported to exist from the bank. The note is quite attractive for the assigned grade, as the paper is bright and the stamped signatures are dark. A good opportunity to acquire this elusive type, as it has been six years since this type has been offered publicly.
