Fr. 2200-K. 1928 Dark Green Seal $500 Federal Reserve Note. Dallas. PMG Choice About Uncirculated 58.
A scarce 1928 Dallas FRN $500 (Dark Green Seal, KA Block) with fewer than 30 pieces shown on the census in all grades. In fact, aside from two 66's, the remaining notes shown are all graded AU 53 or lower. We doubt this note ever actually circulated, but does show evidence of light handling, most likely at a bank. Certainly a fine opportunity to acquire one of the finest examples of this tough note.
