Fr. 768. 1918 $2 Federal Reserve Bank Note. St. Louis. PMG Choice Uncirculated 64.
Traces of original embossing and bright paper grace this four digit serial number Battleship. This catalog number is quite scarce (so is the St. Louis district), with just 83 listed in Track & Price's census. Depicted on the reverse is the New York class of battleship (the U.S.S New York and U.S.S. Texas being produced), which would have been state of the art in military technology and ship building at the time this series was printed. Today, the U.S.S. Texas can be viewed as a museum ship.
