CC-14. Continental Currency. November 29, 1775. $4. PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.
No. 37008. Signed by J. Watkin Jr. and N. Garrison. Printed in Philadelphia by Hall and Sellers, 1775. Boar charging a spear at center right with motto AUT MORS AUT VITA DECORA (Either death or an honorable life) above. Four full and very well-balanced margins with bold signatures and exceptionally fine printing. The only 66 EPQ graded by PMG, with none finer. The second-highest graded is a 64 EPQ making this incredible note quite likely the finest known. This was formerly from the collection of Eric Newman. PMG Pop 1/None Finer.
