DE-82. Delaware. May 1, 1777. 4 Pence. PCGS Banknote Superb Gem Uncirculated 67 PPQ.
No. 50742. Signed by R. Lockwood. Printed by James Adams, 1777. A near twin to the 3 Pence note above, this 4 Pence boasts slightly darker printing and similar broad boarders and sharp ink signature. The population in Superb Gem grades is lower though, with only two shown on the T&P Census at 67 or better. PCGS Banknote Pop 1/None Finer.
