1891 Morgan Silver Dollar. MS-65 (PCGS).
Especially lustrous and satiny, and a date that is rarely found this well preserved. Liberty's cheek is smooth and free of deep or detracting cuts, strong cartwheel luster dances in the fields when examined. The texture is creamy white in the absence of even the lightest toning. As an issue, the circulation strike 1891 Morgan dollar rarely is seen in Gem grades. Any specialist would do well to put this impressive example away and move on to other dates for their collections.
