1879-S Morgan Silver Dollar. Reverse of 1878. Top 100 Variety. MS-64+ (PCGS). CAC.
Fully struck with abundant mint luster, this frosty-white example makes a strong impression in all regards. A scarce hub variety of the otherwise plentiful 1879-S dollar, the Reverse of 1878 is also conditionally challenging with most coins circulated or in the lowest Mint State grades. At the near-Gem level this CAC-approved offering is worthy of serious consideration.
