Description
1799 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. BB-160, B-12. Rarity-3. VF-35 (PCGS).
Classic lavender-gray toning with splashes of olive-russet in some of the more protected areas. Surface quality looks average, generally smooth in hand, but with a few scratches in the left reverse field that accuracy compels us to mention. Good detail remains for the assigned grade, however, and the eye appeal is quite strong. BB Die State II-III (intermediate die state).
