1935-D Walking Liberty Half Dollar. MS-65 (PCGS).
Lightly toned in silver-gray with speckled russet more pronounced for the obverse. The surfaces are lustrous and smooth with a boldly executed strike. In his 2008 work on this series penned for Zyrus Press your cataloger (JLA) ranks the 1935-D as the third scarcest middle date Walking Liberty half dollar. Only the 1934-D and 1935-S are more challenging to locate in Mint State among these issues.
