1889 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. Proof-63 Cameo (PCGS). CAC.
Reddish-gold peripheral toning gives way to pale golden-champagne tinting toward the centers of this sharply struck, nicely cameoed specimen. Half dollar production in 1889 amounted to just 12,000 circulation strikes and 711 Proofs, all at the Philadelphia Mint.
