1881 Liberty Seated Quarter. Proof-66 (NGC).
Splendid toning in cobalt blue, reddish-copper and golden-orange reveals its most vivid colors when the surfaces dip into a light. Fully struck overall with glowing Proof reflectivity shining forth nicely as at all viewing angles. From a popular low mintage date in the later Liberty Seated quarter series, and sure to appeal to both Proof type and date collectors.
