Description

1794 Liberty Cap Cent. S-24. Rarity-1. Head of 1794. EF Details--Environmental Damage (PCGS).
With plenty of bold to sharp striking detail remaining, this S-24 cent has much to offer the budget minded type collector seeking an example of the classic Liberty Cap design. The strike is nicely centered on the planchet, as well, with full denticulation framing the obverse, the reverse with at least half of the border denticles present. Dark charcoal-olive color and an overall rough, granular texture explain the PCGS qualifier, but there are few marks discernible with the unaided eye.
PCGS# 901374. NGC ID: 223M.

Estimate: $2000
