1894 Barber Half Dollar. Proof-67 (PCGS).
Equally exquisite, this captivating Superb Gem displays a virtually identical pattern of toning to the Millholland Proof 1893 Barber half dollar offered above. It is an expertly preserved coin with smooth surfaces that readily reveal their reflective qualities when viewed with the aid of direct lighting. The third issue in the Proof Barber half dollar series, the 1894 has a mintage of 972 pieces. This specimen ranks among the finest certified and comes highly recommended for inclusion in a stellar Proof type or date set.
