Description

1883 Gold Dollar. MS-68 (PCGS).
Razor sharp in strike with full mint luster, this is a gorgeous survivor from a mintage of just 10,800 circulation strike gold dollars of the date. Popular with type collectors, the 1883 gold dollar comes well-struck and is readily available even through MS-67. At MS-68, however, there are only a handful available for type collectors or Set Registry players. Satiny and pristine, the overall aesthetic of this coin is tremendous even despite its diminutive size.
PCGS# 7584. NGC ID: 25DM.
PCGS Population: 23; 2 finer (both MS-68+).
From the Ward Collection.

Estimate: $10000
