1934-D Washington Quarter. Medium Motto. MS-67+ (PCGS). CAC.
This enchanting Superb Gem is lightly and originally toned in sandy-gold iridescence that is bolder on the obverse. Silky smooth surfaces are further enhanced by soft satiny luster. Sharply struck, as well, and a delight to behold. Quarter production at the Denver Mint in 1934 amounted to 3,527,200 coins, a smaller total by Washington quarter standards that confirms the key date status of this issue in all but the lowest circulated grades. As a solidly graded and aesthetically pleasing Superb Gem this top-pop specimen is exceedingly rare from a condition standpoint. Sure to sell for a strong premium to an advanced Washington quarter Set Registry collector.
