1916-D Mercury Dime. MS-63 (PCGS). CAC.
A premium MS-63 example of this perennially popular, key date Mercury dime issue. Full, soft, satin to frosty luster blankets both sides. The surfaces are essentially brilliant, although studied inspection will reveal delicate champagne-gold iridescence. Fully struck in most areas, including at the borders, we even note considerable separation between the cross bands in the center of the reverse. If the Gem Mint State offering in the previous lot proves elusive, this second opportunity to acquire a lovely Mint State example of the legendary 1916-D Mercury dime also deserves serious consideration.
