1891 Morgan Silver Dollar. Proof-67 (PCGS).
Proof Morgan dollars of any date seldom display the virtually pristine features that characterize this Superb 1891. Both sides are virtually pristine, the silky smooth surfaces revealing intense reflectivity under a light. Beautifully toned, as well, vivid reddish-apricot iridescence adorns the obverse while steel-blue, deep rose and pinkish-gold undertones light up the reverse. Finally, the strike is razor sharp throughout - a quality seldom seen in Proof silver dollars from the 1888 to 1893 era. Truly an exceptional survivor from a mintage of 650 Proofs that is worthy of premium bids.
